This website is operated by Menghrani GmbH, Basel, Switzerland. The company is the controller responsible for personal information collected through this site.

Privacy questions, access requests and corrections can be raised through the enquiry form on the contact page, or by message via LinkedIn. Requests are answered directly.

The only personal information actively collected is what you choose to enter into the enquiry form: your name, your organisation and role if you provide them, your email address, the reason for your enquiry and the text of your message.

When the form is submitted, the website also records a one-way cryptographic hash derived from your IP address and the browser identification string sent by your browser. The IP address itself is not stored. These technical details exist only to limit automated abuse of the form.

Enquiry details are used solely to read, assess and respond to your enquiry and to maintain a record of the correspondence. They are not used for marketing, are not sold, and are not shared with third parties for their own purposes. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where relevant, steps taken at your request before entering into an engagement.

The form is submitted to this website's own server, which validates the content and stores it in the site's database. Submissions are protected by a hidden field that automated systems tend to complete, and by a limit on how many enquiries can be sent from the same origin within an hour.

This website does not use analytics software, advertising tools or tracking cookies, and it does not set cookies for marketing or measurement purposes. Should privacy-compliant analytics be introduced later, it would record only non-identifying events such as the category of an enquiry — never the content of a message or the details of the person sending it — and this notice would be updated before it went live.

The site links to external destinations including LinkedIn, Forbes and the websites of organisations mentioned in the content, and video material is hosted on external platforms and opened there rather than embedded. Once you follow such a link, the destination's own privacy practices apply.

Typefaces used across the site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google servers and Google receives the request's technical metadata, including your IP address.

The website is built and hosted on the Lovable platform, which serves the site through a global content delivery network and provides its database service through Supabase. Enquiries submitted through the form are stored in that database. Web fonts are delivered by Google Fonts, as described above. No email marketing platform, customer relationship system, form provider or advertising network is used.

Enquiries are retained for as long as the correspondence may reasonably remain relevant to a possible board, advisory, speaking or publication conversation, and are deleted once that is no longer the case. You may ask for your enquiry to be deleted sooner at any time.

Because hosting, content delivery and font delivery are provided by international providers, personal information may be processed on servers outside Switzerland, including within the EU/EEA and the United States. Transfers rely on the providers' contractual data-protection commitments, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you may request access to the personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing, or request a copy in a portable form. There is no charge for exercising these rights, and no obligation to send an enquiry through this site at all — LinkedIn remains an alternative.

If you believe your information has been handled improperly, you may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or the supervisory authority in your country of residence within the EU/EEA.
